Church historyThe Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Montgomery was formed in the 1960s with about a dozen people. Members held strong during years in which the group faced discrimination because there were both whites and African Americans among the membership. The fellowship built a church on Vaughn Road, and then in 2003 moved to its current location on the Atlanta Highway to accommodate a growing membership that now numbers around 100.Welcoming CongregationAs a Welcoming Congregation, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Montgomery welcomes gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people.
